Editor’s Letter

As we celebrate 18 years of Original Living, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and a deep sense of resilience.

What began as a dream in Boston has blossomed into a vibrant platform—now thriving in Miami and expanding its voice in New York—cities that have each shaped the spirit of who we are.

These 18 years have been a journey of chal- lenges and triumphs, filled with incredible souls and, inevitably, a few pretenders. Yet through every season, every lesson, and every storm, the vision never wavered—it only grew stronger. Originality, after all, demands courage.

This anniversary issue is a tribute to fear- less visionaries, bold expression, and the timeless beauty of authenticity. We are honored to feature the legendary Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, the undisputed Queen of Color, whose four-decade legacy reminds us that fashion—like life is most powerful when lived without rules.

We also celebrate the brilliance of Max Alexander, the world’s youngest runway de- signer and a Guinness World Record holder, proving that true talent knows no age only passion.

From the magical world of Herman Cornejo and ballet’s brightest stars, capturing pas- sion, discipline, and grace to the unveiling of my own IOI Pisces Resort Collection, this edition is a celebration of art, emotion, and bold individuality.

It is also a moment of sorrow, as we honor the memory of a beloved supporter and true friend, Bod Boxter. He gave so much behind the scenes of our shows and brought so much joy to our productions. Your soul will shine forever, and the memories we shared will live on. I dedicate this edition to you, and I will smile thinking of so many of those nonsense stories you used to tell me. You will live in my heart forever, and you will be deeply missed.
