“September has always been my favorite month,” she shared with a warm smile. “It feels like a time of new beginnings and fresh starts. For me, it’s a moment to reflect on the past year, set new goals, and embrace the changes that come with the changing season. Being the cover girl for this issue is more than just an honor; it’s a meaningful way to celebrate a month that resonates so deeply with me.”
“September is not only my favorite month but also my birthday month,” she explained. “This year, I wanted to embrace it with boldness and courage. I felt it was the perfect time to challenge myself in new ways, to push beyond my comfort zone and explore new limits—if such limits even exist.”
For her, September represents a time of renewal and opportunity, a chance to set ambitious goals and venture into uncharted territory.

When asked about the key to her success and what keeps her motivated, Jenisbel’s answer was deeply personal. “Family is the key to my success and the fuel that drives me,” she said. “My family inspires me every day and gives me the strength to pursue all my projects and goals. I’m naturally shy, and many might find it hard to believe, but I’m embracing this challenge because I want to inspire others to do the same. Live your dreams, because no one else will do it for you. You are the only one who can take charge of your life. Be ambitious, set your goals, and act on them.”
Navigating Negative Comments and Criticism
When it comes to handling negative comments and criticism, Jenisbel approaches the situation with a thoughtful perspective. “I’ve come to understand that criticism is a natural part of being in the public eye,” she explains. “I try to view it as a chance for growth. Constructive criticism can offer valuable insights, and I take it seriously, especially when it comes from trusted sources.”
Jenisbel adds, “However, I also recognize that not all criticism is equally meaningful. I take into account who the feedback is coming from. If it’s from someone whose opinion I respect and who has a constructive approach, I consider their points carefully. On the other hand, I don’t let negative comments from less constructive sources affect me too deeply. I focus on the positive feedback and the encouragement I receive from those who genuinely support me.”

Jenisbel is eager to share the essence of her new book, which offers an intimate look into her life’s journey. “My book chronicles my experiences as a young girl navigating the challenges of traveling from Cuba to this country,” she explains. “It’s a deeply personal account of the voyage, the obstacles I faced, and the fears and traumas that accompanied me along the way.”

I hope it serves as a source of strength for those facing their own fears and traumas. Writing this book has been a therapeutic process for me, helping me confront and understand my past, and I’m hopeful that it will provide comfort and guidance to others.”
